The Return of the Disaster-Class Hero

Chapter 337

Chapter 337 - Drop Shipment (1)

Lee Gun smirked as he pointed to himself.

Everyone’s eyes turned round when Lee Gun asked if he could be sent as a parcel. This was especially true of Sagittarius, who had brought Lee Gun to this place.

He whispered to Lee Gun, “Are you being serious?”

It didn’t take long for Sagittarius to scream inwardly when he saw Lee Gun’s expression.

‘This guy has no plans on doing an indirect inquiry…!!’

Hermes was the Messenger god, and he was a big player in the entire Divine world when it came to the passenger transport business, considered to be in the top two. Moreover, as per a rumor, they could traverse different dimensions. Aside from traveling in time, Hermes could travel to any place in this world.

Lee Gun had probably planned on finding Hugo through this method after he had heard of this.

‘Still, the delivery idea came out of nowhere!’

Did he think such a thing was possible?

Lee Gun didn’t care as he smirked. “If Pushover can’t be the recipient, I don’t mind if it\'s Hades.”

“…?!”

The employee behind the counter looked taken aback.

“What? It isn’t possible? You can send a person as a parcel, right?”

“I-I guess we can send you if we label you as livestock…”

The flabbergasted employees looked over Lee Gun and Sagittarius.

“You want to go to the underworld despite the current situation?”

“Excuse me. You said your name is Bamboo Spear-nim? Aren’t you affiliated with Olympus?”

They looked Lee Gun up and down with suspicion. Currently, Lee Gun was wearing Sagittarius’s clothes. He had worn a white jacket. The description of his original black jersey had spread far and wide. Moreover, it smelled greatly of humans.

Also, Sagittarius had changed Lee Gun’s black hair to red as a disguise. This had made Yooha pant in joy as she took a lot of photos.

Of course, Lee Gun’s Divine statues were already sealed, so there was no need to do anything about them.

Anyway, Sagittarius’s efforts had been effective. The gods had mistaken Lee Gun to be under the Olympus faction.

“Olympus is a mess right now because of a god called the entertainer.”

“We received orders to assemble, yet you want to go to the netherworld… Are you running away?”

“Do you have something to do with this situation…”

When distrust entered their eyes, Sagittarius became desperate. “No!! It isn’t like that!! This kid works part-time for my store! A terrible bastard stole money from this kid and ran away to the underworld!!”

The dumbfounded Lee Gun looked at Sagittarius.

Sagittarius stroked Lee Gun’s head as he continued, “As someone who hired him, I can’t stand still. This kid also has to pay taxes to the Divine world soon. Anyway, we are in a hurry! Please do us a favor!”

When Sagittarius started to sweat, the employees tilted their heads in puzzlement. They had never seen this side of Sagittarius.

‘He’s always calm and cold.’

‘He’s known as the noblest god in the Divine world.’

Lee Gun looked at Sagittarius with an unsatisfied reaction. He was asking why Sagittarius was employing such a useless method.

‘If words don’t work, I just have to make them listen.’

‘You\'re right.’

In the end, Lee Gun and Yooha started raising their weapons as if they were in agreement. However, Sagittarius desperately grabbed and lowered their arms.

‘Ahhhk! Everyone from the Serpent Bearer temple is crazy!!!’

They were all the same!

Sagittarius became very serious since he was the one hiding Lee Gun.

‘If you get me involved, you won’t find any answer to your problem.’

At that moment, the employees looked at Lee Gun and said, “Since we are in the presence of the god of the sun, we’ll make an exception. We’ll send you as livestock through the parcel service.”

“As you probably know, a terrorist attacked the Divine world’s entry center a couple of days ago.”

“!”

“Unfortunately, the one in charge of the entry center was Olympus\'s Great Spirit. That’s why all the members of Olympus are being aggressively pushed to join the effort to catch the terrorist…”

Lee Gun tilted his head in puzzlement. “Entry center? I—”

“Ahhhk!!!!!!”

Sagittarius took Lee Gun into his arms as if he wanted to shut him up.

The employees looked at them in suspicion.

“You did what?”

“I— Oohp.”

“He was there! He was one of the victims!!!”

“Ah-ha! I see. Anyway, this is his general description. You should keep it in mind. He can’t be tracked. Either he’s hiding or someone is hiding him…”

“If someone is hiding him, the Great Spirit said it will kill that being.”

Sagittarius\'s face turned pale from fright as he continued to sweat.

* * *

“Nephew.”

“You want to die.”

“Serpent Bearer.”

“What?”

“I have a question.”

“What is it?”

Sagittarius seriously asked, “Over there… Why… Why do I have to get into a box?”

Lee Gun had been packing Sagittarius in a box. He savagely glared at the god of the sun. “You aren’t going to go? You have zero desire to save Taeksoo.”

“It isn’t like that!!! I’m just asking why I have to go there! You were the one supposed to go inside the delivery box!”

Sagittarius looked aggrieved as he tried to exit the large box. However, Lee Gun grabbed him by the back of the neck and put him into a sturdy delivery (wooden) box. Yooha held up a sticker that would label Sagittarius as livestock.

Sagittarius desperately tried to exit the box, but his group had asked to use a space that the employees didn’t particularly use. The god of the sun had never expected it to be used against him like this!

“I have things to do in Olympus!”

“Shut up! We’ll go to Taeksoo. You take care of the counterparty.”

“W-What?! Why?”

“Why else? The counterparty of the Taeksoo trade is the Great Spirit of Ennead or whatever. We can’t have him interfering with Taeksoo’s rescue. Just beat him half to death.”

“What!!! Hey! Do you realize what kind of being a Great Spirit is— Oohp! You might be able to do it, but— Oohp!!!”

Lee Gun pretended not to hear as he closed the lid. As soon as Yooha placed the livestock sticker, a light surrounded the box. It was sealed shut.

Kwahng! Kwahng!

“Hey!!”

Lee Gun placed the box containing Sagittarius onto the conveyor belt. Then, he wrote a message on the box using the marker borrowed from the employee.

[To: Ennead Great Spirit]

“Ahhhhk!!” The container containing Sagittarius fell into the hole at the end of the conveyor belt. It was being delivered to its destination. The marker was an item connected to the Messenger god’s abilities.

[Cross Through Dimensions (4 star)]

- Address for All Creations (5 star): Automatic search. Assigned.

Lee Gun dusted off his hands when he confirmed this, then took out another empty box. “Where do you want to go, Yooha? Do you want to go to your dad? How about Hades?”

Yooha’s eyes twinkled. “I want to go with uncle.”

Before departing the earth, Lee Gun had told Hailey and Yooha that he would take them to the Divine world, yet he had snuck out in secret at dawn.

Lee Gun sighed when he heard Yooha’s words. He looked resigned as he wrote Pushover on the box. Then, he gestured to her to get into the box. “We’ll go immediately to Taeksoo…”

At that moment.

“I’m sorry, but I can’t make that delivery.”

Kwah-jeek!!!

Accompanying an unfamiliar voice, a harpoon made out of powerful magical energy fell on the conveyor.

Kwah-gwa-gwan!

The conveyor belt came to a stop, and an unfamiliar man wearing a suit appeared in the shipping room.

He was a handsome male god, like Sagittarius. The green-haired male god had a meaningful smile on his lips.

Lee Gun furrowed his brows when he saw this being.

[Divine Name: Wanderer of Borders]

[Divine Status: Hermes (Zodiac)]

“You can’t go to the address you just registered. Pushover is a Construct that Olympus is aiming for too.”

“Huh?”

Lee Gun looked askance at the male god, but the messenger god merely smiled. “You’re that problematic snake god, right?”

Hermes was a god with significant Divine status. His eyes shone with golden light as he looked at Lee Gun’s outer appearance. It seemed his eyes could see the Divine status leaking out of Lee Gun. Lee Gun’s aura looked like the precious twin snakes.

The messenger god smiled. He was interested since Lee Gun was the original owner of the 600% Construct. However, he also realized something was off.

‘That’s strange. It was said that he’s a Zodiac with stage 5 Divine status.’

The messenger god was friendly with the civil servants, so he had eavesdropped on them. Although he hadn’t heard the exact details, he had heard that Lee Gun was the god of Cycle.

Stages 1 and 2 were considered normal Divine status for a low-rank god. Stages 3 and 4 were for the middle-rank gods. Divine status stage 5 indicated a high-rank god.

However, that wasn’t the case with Lee Gun.

‘He looks to be the lowest-rank god.’

For some odd reason, Lee Gun smelled like a human and his energy seemed like that too. In fact, the auto-detection system of the Divine world had classified him as a low-rank god.

Of course, Lee Gun was a new god, so he hadn’t been properly measured. However, that measurement’s result would more than likely be the same.

In fact, Hermes wondered if the civil servants were in error. It was rare, but Lee Gun did have two Divine Statues. Hermes wondered if Lee Gun was treated as a stage 5 because stage 3 and stage 2 were added together.

‘They said the power of Cycle can be activated only if the two Divine Statuses are combined.’

If so, the civil servants were generous in calling it stage 5.

This made the messenger god laugh.

According to the rules of the Divine world, a god was considered a Zodiac if it possessed a Construct. However, low-rank gods were embarrassed to call themselves Zodiacs since the title of a Zodiac was a title emblematic of the ruling gods. So the low-rank gods had given up on that title.

It was why the gods looked at the snake god with contempt. He wasn’t even a high-rank Zodiac, yet he planned on keeping a 600%-Faith Construct. Moreover, he didn’t give up his title of Zodiac despite being a low-rank god.

The messenger god didn’t show any outward indication of his thought as he approached Lee Gun and Yooha. “I like you guys, especially you.”

The messenger god smiled as he looked at Yooha. “Do you guys want to be my Constructs?”

“?”

Then he grabbed Lee Gun’s shoulder. “Do you want to join Olympus? Our Great Spirit is interested in you.”

Currently, a war is going on in the Divine world, named the Great Spirit selection match.

The Great Spirits put great importance on this war, and they all wanted their factions to win.

‘He’s the owner of that Construct. He must know a special way to make a 600%-Faith Construct.’

On top of everything, a rumor was going around that a monarch of the unknown civilization had been killed in a distant dimension.

It was probably only a rumor, but monarchs were beings that made even high-rank gods convulse.

‘If we find out the secret method, the monarch can be…’

The messenger god’s eyes flashed as he activated his ability.

[Information Backflow (4 star)]

It was an ability that allowed him to forcefully see and steal information about his opponent.

However, when the messenger god explored Lee Gun’s Divine statuses, he flinched hard.

‘W-Wait a moment.’

Seeing him this flustered was rare.

‘This bastard’s Divine Statuses are…!’

They were above the level of a high-rank god. Moreover, Lee Gun didn’t possess just two Divine Statuses.

‘Three? No….’

“!”

While the messenger god was searching him, Lee Gun grinned as he brought out something. It was none other than the spear created with Abyss’s body!

The messenger god caught wind of what kind of power the spear emanated, and his pale face froze on reflex. “Wait a moment. What is that?”

“None of your business.”

The next moment, the monarch spear pierced through the messenger god’s body.

Kwah-jeek!

“Ahhhhk!”

Lee Gun wrapped the messenger god’s body with tape. Then he placed him into a new delivery box. “I’ll send this bastard to a monarch.”

“What? Wait a moment! Hey?!! Oohp!!”

When Lee Gun placed the lid, Yooha once again placed the livestock sticker on the box. Then Lee Gun wrote the name of the recipient on the box.

[To: Abyss (Monarch)]

After that, he used his strength to put the box at the end of the conveyor belt and pushed the box into the black space.

Hweek!

The messenger god screamed because of the violent push. “Ahhhk! No! Hay! Open this—!! Ahhk!!”

However, it was all in vain as he was sent as a parcel.

At the same time, Lee Gun entered the delivery box with Yooha. The box had the name Pushover written on it.

They were delivered in an instant.
